This Safari movie was my third African adventure series 3D film with nWave Pictures, out of Brussels, Belgium. Directed by Ben Stassen, with Stereographer/D.P. Sean McLeod Phillips, the core camera crew and Key Grip, along with their corresponding equipment, was all sourced out of Los Angeles. I was in charge of budgeting for the gear and this crew, and arranging the prep and transportation of the equipment. Four pairs of 3D Cameras (from Arri Alexas all the way down to Go-Pros) were prepped and sent. The production also included sending the crew four separate times over the course of about 15 months for filming in Africa during its various seasons. The film has been seen in Large Format theaters in Europe but has yet to be released in the U.S.
